The PARADE!

The kids were such troopers and despite a lot of pain going over the uneven gravel, walkers, crutches, wheelchairs, hopping, or being carried, they were determined to sing and show everyone what they could do.  Now the adults SURELY had no excuse to stay in bed.

  1. You've all done a great job and are to be commended for your efforts.
Now that you are home please take some time for yourselves and get some rest before returning to work.

  3. Dr. Garcia,

Saw your blog as part of the Power Point done to describe the work of the SJRMC team in Haiti - it was forwarded to us here at Saint Mary's College. I am very humbled and grateful for your work in Haiti. I teach courses in social justice here at the College, and I think there would be great interest for students here - especially those in our nursing program - to learn more about your trip firsthand. Could I connect with you or someone from your team to explore that possibility?

My email is jpilarski@saintmarys.edu if you have the chance to respond and chat about ways we could connect and learn from your work.

Thank you --- Jan Pilarski, Director of Justice Education
